There was a really great party here yesterday in which the university community welcomed the new students. For us non-Portuguese speaking students, I would argue that it was hardly publicised. I got to know barely fifteen minutes before it started when my flatmates in our Republika were like 'hey Baba we are going for the party, how about you?' I intended to go for an hour or two because of the essay I am writing but ended up spending five hours or thereabout! And when I left at 4.30am the life band was still jamming!
